The Anoka County Housing and Redevelopment Authority (ACHRA) has released the final version of its updated county-wide housing study. Completed by Maxfield Research, the study identified a demand of 18,041 new housing units are needed in Anoka County by the year 2030. The unit mix identified covered all types of owner-occupied and rental housing options, including market-rate, senior, affordable and deeply-subsidized. The needed density of housing units also covered the whole gamut, from low density single-family housing, townhouse and high density multi-family.
