Hilltop

Hilltop manages to capture the feeling of a small town while being part of a busy suburban area. Hilltop's 749 residents are only minutes away from the Twin Cities. Evolving from a dairy farm, to a golf course, to a riding academy, to a modern mobile home facility, the city's seeds were planted in 1948 with a post-war boom of manufactured homes. Rapid development occurred in the 1950’s and the city has since seen redevelopment projects as a majority of their activity. The City of Hilltop is situated along the Highway 65 corridor, minutes from Minneapolis, and adjacent to Columbia Heights.
